St Augustine's School caters for boys and girls aged from 5 years to 12 years of age. St Augustine's School has a student enrolment of just over 600 children in 23 class groups. We have a well-resourced library and a state-of-the-art computer lab. Each classroom has a minimum of at least one internet connected computer with the Year 6 classrooms having three. Every classroom has an interactive whiteboard. Dispersed throughout the school are digital cameras, wireless keyboards and other relevant technological devices.
Our school caters for the special needs of all students through programs such as Reading Recovery, Literacy Support, Numeracy Support, Gifted and Talented, New Arrivals and ESL. More information regarding extra curricular activities and current events can be found by referring to our Information and Newsletter sections.
Our school is part of St Augustine's Parish Coffs Harbour and is a member of the Lismore Diocese School system. The School Vision Statement is contained in the website and clearly states the role of the school as an education agent within the Catholic Church. St Augustine's School is a happy place where children, parents, friends and staff can go about their daily tasks in a pleasant, secure Christian environment.
Coffs Harbour as a city is the most beautiful place on earth. We are situated approximately six (6) hours driving time from Sydney and four and a half (4 1/2) hours from Brisbane.
Coffs Harbour enjoys a fantastic climate - some experts rate our climate as the most perfect in the world!! The local economy is reliant on tourism, tropical fruits, fishing, administration and education. A large number of retired people live in the area. Coffs Harbour is a great place to live and St Augustine's School is proud to be making a contribution to the city's development.
Thank you for visiting our website and if you are in Coffs Harbour, please take time to visit our school.
